Field Service Technician

This position offers the chance to work with a dedicated team and use your initiative and motivation to provide first class service to our customers in the field. Opportunities exist for the right candidate to develop this role and progress within the business.

About the job

The successful applicant will need to be proficient in the diagnosis and repair of all types of mechanical and electrical systems associated with our range of self propelled sprayers.

Your main responsibilities will include

  • Completing onsite repairs to Agrifac Self Propelled Sprayers
  • Identifying and resolving mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and product upgrades
  • Completing all required paperwork accurately and effectively
  • Providing quality customer service at all times
  • Liaising with customers to ensure deadlines are met

About you

Required Skills and Experience

  • Qualification in Heavy Vehicle Technology – Cert III or above
  • Experience with Agricultural Machinery, SP sprayer experience preferred but not essential
  • Experience in electrical and laptop diagnosis (highly desirable)
  • Highly developed communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated and team orientated
  • Ability to manage your own time
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised
  • Energetic and a ‘Can Do’ attitude
  • Desire to learn and develop skills
  • Willing to travel for extended periods of time
  • Full driving licence essential
