As a commercial trainer your aim is to bring our sales organisation (about 40 FTE) and our dealer sales (about 150FTE) to a higher level. Agrifac is standardising the product- range based on geographical location and on type of crops. Using these inputs you will develop easy-to-use training material enabling sales to give the best answers to customers.
Your input will be in the development of material and giving training courses. Due to language limitations we can use a train-the-trainer approach. You will cooperate closely with our technical trainer.
In this role we expect a hands-on approach. You are a self-starter who knows how to develop training material. You get things done!
Tasks and responsibilities
- Set up a training course per geographical region;
- You assess the skills and knowledge within the target groups and determine which training courses are needed to maintain and grow them;
- You identify the training and development needs within Agrifac and our distribution partners by having regular consultations with the Service, Sales and R&D management;
- You develop and update the training programs and you enter into dialogue with stakeholders for relevant information;
- You work in a team on the training programs and ensure support;
- You create and provide training, offering both classroom and online training;
- You provide (part of) the training yourself or arrange training that can be provided by local team members;
- You make an important contribution to the professionalization of the Agrifac Academy;
- You evaluate given training courses so that knowledge is increased and shared in the right way.
You are based in our office in Steenwijk with trainings taking place on external locations every now and then.
You will be part of an enthusiastic team who ensure knowledge transfer between Sales and Customers. In this position you will report to Agrifac’s Sales Development Manager.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or equivalent, with additional trainings in the field of commercial trainings;
- Minimum of 5 year of experience in organising and providing commercial trainings;
- Experienced in Microsoft Office (Exel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch.
