Agrifac UK appoints new Managing Director

Agrifac UK have appointed a new Managing Director to oversee business operations for the group and kick-start an advanced investment programme in technology, processes and most importantly, people.

Agrifac UK Ltd is thrilled to announce the appointment of Chris Armitage as the new Managing Director for the group, effective 1st March 2021. Having previously advanced his career within many high-profile Agricultural Machinery companies such as CNH and JCB respectively, Chris takes the reins of Agrifac UK Ltd with extensive knowledge, experience and an unsurpassed passion for Agriculture, with the intentions to further grow the groups’ brands and help the business flourish. The addition of Chris to the Agrifac UK Ltd Senior Management team will see him take ownership of business operations across the company for the group’s four brands; Agrifac, HOLMER, Zunhammer and HARDI, which comprises a team of 25 members of staff within the UK.

Growing up on a family farm and having always worked within the industry, Chris has first-hand experience of all angles and perspectives of professions within Agriculture; an invaluable and huge benefit to bring to Agrifac UK Ltd. Implementing this, as well as putting his experience and knowledge learnt throughout his many years of business development into practice, will be sure to set the team in good stead as they move forward into the next phase of growth. Passionate to drive forward and build on relationships that have been consciously developed over the years, Chris is committed to lay down plans to accelerate sustainable growth to meet the needs and demands of customers in what is a very important market for Agrifac.

Chris continues: “We have recently embarked on a considerable investment programme, focusing on technology, processes and most importantly, people. With a number of new appointments within the Sales and After Sales departments already in place, steps are being taken to continually bolster our customer support across all of our brands within all of our departments”.
